The design of this flat embraced the client’s taste for bold colours, contemporary furniture and warm materials. The vibrancy of the house is reflected in pieces such as the terracotta-coloured sofa in the living room, the headboard, in the master bedroom, with celadon fabric inspired by the paper cut-outs of Japanese artist Naoki Kawano, and the collection of abstract paintings displayed throughout the flat. Although each room has its own characteristic atmosphere, the whole project maintains a guiding aesthetic line that allows the zones to be connected to each other, thus creating a visually striking and flexible space that reflects the client’s youthful and adventurous spirit.
